SEE Mother and Daughter Contesting for Brazil's Miss BumBum (PHOTOS)

A mother and daughter competing in Brazil's Miss Bumbum competition have told how their obsession to win led to the mother's partner of six years walking out on them, Daily Mail reports.

Bruna Ferraz, 35, and her daughter Eduarda Morais, 19, both admit they are desperate to be crowned the country's Miss BumBum. With less than two weeks until the grand final on October 9, Bruna and Eduarda both claim they will do anything to pip the other to the post.

Eduarda said: "Winning means everything to me, it will change my life forever. But I know it means everything to my mum too. Now we're both in the final, it will all depend on who's got the most beautiful bottom. I admire my mum's bottom. I hope mine will be as firm as hers when I'm her age."

Bruna revealed that her partner of 9 years left her over her obsession. She said: "When we got accepted on the competition we were both pretty euphoric. It was all we talked about, and what we had to do to win. He ended up giving me a choice, pull out or he'd leave me.

We'd been together for six years, it wasn't the most perfect relationship but we were living just like husband and wife. But it was an easy decision to make. I would never let anything get in the way of realising my dream, and certainly no man.

He actually accepted my decision without any problems, we didn't even argue about it. He just understood that the competition was more important to me than him, and he moved out."
