Yesterday, almost 500 stripped down and dived into the freezing North Sea to raise money for mental health charity. The annual event celebrates the first official day of autumn, as well as raising money for charity.
The event, which is now in it's 5th year, took place at sunrise, after the autumn equinox - which occurred last Thursday. The participants gathered at Druridge Bay, in Northumberland. Each registers and pays a fee of £12 before the event, which gets donated to charity.
