Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji has been slammed by some irate fans for lending her support for the victims of the Bastille Day attack in Nice, France on Thursday, July 14, 2016.
The actress had shared an Instagram post about the the attack where 84 people were ran over by a truck, which was reported to have contained guns and grenades.
The driver of the truck, who has been identified as Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel was shot dead by police. About 18 of the victims are currently in critical condition in hospital.
The 37-year-old actress like many others took to her Instagram page on Friday to post: "“Father into thy hands I commend their spirit #prayforparis#prayforjustice."
This action did not however go down well with some Nigerians who felt that she hadn’t contributed her voice to any of the attacks going on the country, not even the recent Benue massacre.
