Ooni's Mother & Sisters Shine at Grandmother's Burial (PHOTOS)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, on the 23rd of April, 2016 buried his grandmother, Olori Agba Marian Ayeyemi Ogunwusi (nee Ishadipe) a.k.a Iya Alaso.

The Ooni was not permitted to be there, as Kings in Yorubaland are not allowed to see a corpse. But his newly married wife, Olori Wuraola was there to represent him. The church ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ayegbaju, Ile Ife. See more photos from the well attended event below.
