Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut and pretty sister, Rangoli Ranaut have recently featured on the latest Femina’s cover for the month of March 2016, which is a Women’s Day Special edition.
Dressed in crème attires, the sisters' pack a punch with their power-dressing style. Fashion chameleon Kangana is seen in a Sahil Aneja outfit, a dress paired with a long blazer, minimal makeup, hair pulled back in a severe do and Dior shoes. Rangoli is dressed in softer silhouettes, in an Anand Bhushan dress teamed with Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna blouse and Dior pumps and looks chic.
Kangana Ranaut is a strong woman and doesn’t like to mince her words. The actress has braved many adversities before she succeeded in B-Town. Her journey to the top is nothing less than inspiring. However, not many are aware that the actress’ elder sister Rangoli also has an inspiring story – on how she bounced back post acid attack on her!
Rangoli had acid thrown at her when she was only 23 and still studying in college, supposedly by a spurned suitor. As soon as she learnt about the acid attack, Kangana arranged to have her sister move to Mumbai so she could have the best possible treatment. After her recovery, which took over a year, Rangoli continued to stay with Kangana and took over the role of managing her affairs. In the year 2013, Kangana turned down a 2 crore deal to promote a fairness cream in 2013. At that time, explaining her decision, the actress had quoted on a popular TV chat show, “I have no regrets about turning this offer down. As a public figure, I have responsibilities. My sister (Rangoli Ranaut) is dusky, yet beautiful. If I go ahead and be a part of this campaign, then, in a way, I would be insulting her. If I can't do that to my sister, then how can I do it to an entire nation?”
